Canon P bouncing RF alignment

take the camera back to the repair tech.
tell him or her what you think the problem is.
without the knowhow and the proper tools, it is not something you should do to the glorious P.

Concur w/ xayraa33. I have no problem adjusting the alignment on my P, but when the alignment started going out of adjustment w/ a bump, or when I turned the camera to frame vertically, it became apparent that something more serious was amiss. Fixing it would require taking the top off, and that's something I don't feel comfortable doing. So I agree (unless you enjoy tinkering) sending it back is good advice.
