Concur w/ xayraa33. I have no problem adjusting the alignment on my P, but when the alignment started going out of adjustment w/ a bump, or when I turned the camera to frame vertically, it became apparent that something more serious was amiss. Fixing it would require taking the top off, and that's something I don't feel comfortable doing. So I agree (unless you enjoy tinkering) sending it back is good advice.
