Curious if the members that have Canonets use hyperfocal focusing and which tool/chart they use.

I don't find hyperfocal focusing that useful unless i shoot landscapes or such. Better pre-focus on a distance which is the range I expect to use the camera, like, say, 3-5 meters.

Agreed. Guess I was looking to set the lens at the optimal depth of field for quick shots without having to futz with focusing.

I only use the hyperfocal range with my Zorki 2C, the Leica & Kiev w/ 35/2.8, and sometimes with the 50/2 because the scales are easy, and separate VF & RF on the 1st 2 can be a pain at times.
All/most of my 70's fixed lense RF's either have no scale, or very tiny ones and the focusing range is very short, only about 1/8 of a turn for both my Canonets. The Kiev w/ 50/2 is almost a full turn, and the Leica w/ Elmar is a 1/2 turn, so at least the scales are readable.
