Car Boot find

My latest find with its price tag

Now that it has sold a few weeks back, I feel safe to disclose that the near-perfect Rolleiflex White Face 3.5F which sale I have advocated here several times, was bought last spring at a car boot sale for EUR 5.00.

No, that's not a typo.

The lucky finders managed to sell it for a decent price and the family (couple and three children) went vacationing at the seaside for a full week from the proceeds, something they could not have afforded otherwise.

Happy story that ended well, but flea markets, thrift stores and car boot sales will never be the same for me... 😉

I spent 20 EUR today(flea market):

Good news - only 20 EUR and it's excellent condition, everything works fine, just need to change light seals. Bad - it's 1-9 focusing screen, so I will need to buy a normal one to start shooting...

Best find ever.

What is that object on the front of the OM-2n? Is it some sort of adapter? I've never seen anything like that.

Rollei 35T for $15 in an estate sale... that is, until I asked the seller to check if the camera is working. Neither him nor I could figure it out, so a $2 tiny chrome brick it became, I figure at least it's very clean and would look good on display.

On the way home, I slowly remember all the "prevention" mechanisms that the Rollei engineers put in place and finally found out that the camera actually works just fine.
