My thought was that I'd seen a photo of a similarly clad Minolta SLR at The Rokkor Files (http://www.rokkorfiles.com/XD11.html) but when I checked it out it was a CameraLeather (http://www.cameraleather.com/) "lizard skin" recover.
What about this for comparison?

Thanks for the photos, Scrambler. Looks very similar to my CLE except for the anniversary logo. I wonder if it could have fallen off.

Does the Jupiter 12, 35mm 2.8 with adapter fit CLE?

as said in many threads: yes, no problem with Jupiter-12 on the CLE.
I use J-12 from the 50s and 80s and works great.
BUT you need to compensate the metering because the rear element shades the metering cell.
Just do a search, you will find my post suggesting compensation for three distance ranges.
It is only problematic on CL and M5 because of the meter arm.

Thank you for a fast reply, Fer. Nice combo with the 1955 Jupiter-8.
Does the metering work?
Thanks in advance

the metering? of course, why shouldn't it work?
(this thread is about "CLE porn" images, if you use the right threads the info will be in the right place for anyone searching.
There are threads involving CLE, J-12 and J-8)

I ask because it looks like the J12 have some problems with shading the meter at the bottom. Is the back end of the J8 the same? I ask you here in the CLE PORN, because you just pop up with a nice image of your wonderful CLE with a J8.

This thread could need some new images... So here is my CLE setup

Nothing really special, I just use the CLE with the 40mm & 90mm lenses (both Leitz versions) designed for it most of the time. I also have an older 28mm Elmarit, which works also great with the framelines, but it's a bit bigger and obstructs the view quite a bit.
Anyway, the CLE is the analog camera that I use the most (by far!) and it has also proved to be very reliable. I really hope it lasts and I can enjoy shooting with it for a long time!

Whether it ends up serving in a complimentary role to the M6, or as the M6's successor, I'm finding the CLE to be a very nice camera just the same.

To all of you Nokton guys, what frames do you see when using it?
On the CLE the 40mm Nokton brings up the 40mm framelines (along with the 28 too), so it's convenient. On an M body it shows 35mm frames. To all of you Nokton guys, what frames do you see when using it?
