The shutter curtain is failing to open on my G2 when firing.

Does anyone know of a repair centre that I can send the camera to.

I had that problem on a G2, TOCAD fixed it, they will do a complete flat-fee service on the entire camera.

Sally at Tocad has been in touch and quoted a flat $174 for complete service. Very helpful and I'll take that.

Sally is the person in the know. She handled my RTS III repair. Sent it to Japan and just received the camera back a few minutes ago.

What was the time scale for your service?

Sally was great in handling the repair of my RTS III as well. It of course was sent off to Kyocera in Japan. I would recommend that you somehow get the G2 to Kyocera.

The G2 I sent in took about 3 weeks. I don't know if they forwarded it to Japan.
