People pics sought as entries flood in for Ireland West's visitor photo comp
To mark the mod new image that is being used to market the west of Ireland as a fun holiday and break destination, Ireland West Tourism and the Galway Advertiser have been combining to hold a weekly photography competition "Ireland's West through your eyes" with a generous prize fund of € 1,300.
This week the winning shot is a late night pic of Galway during Race Week and was taken by Brad Anderson. He wins a € 50 prize and is in the hat for the superprize of a tailor-made holiday in Ireland come September.
The call is out for more visitors to the west to get their pictures into Ireland West to see if they can win.
There is a weekly prize of € 50 and the winning photo each week will be printed here in the Galway Advertiser and featured on the homepage of
www.irelandwest.ie.
At the end of September the winning entries for each week will be eligible for a grand prize of a tailor-made holiday in Ireland's west. The reservations team in Ireland West Tourism will put together a fantastic holiday to suit the winner - combining accommodation, activities, tours, and entertainment.
