The one suggestion I might make is to show smaller previews of your photos, and let the viewers click on them if they want the full-size image. Once you start getting a large number of images, it will take much longer to load if the full size images are used.
Another suggestion I've made to a couple of the other bloggers here on RFF is to use a non-intrusive hit counting service such as Statcounter. Even for a noncommercial site, it's very interesting to see where your viewers are coming from and who is returning.
Another very interesting thing is seeing what Google (and other) searches are leading to your blog. LOL, the last time I checked, a Google search for "Dido Albert Federowich" brought up my blog as the very first hit! People pay thousands for search engine optimization like that! 🙂 🙂
