Maybe now I'll remember to remove it.

hahah!
Nice. I feel your pain. I gripe about interlocks that prevent the shutter tripping if the slide is in... but then with cameras that don't have that, I forget to remove it... processed lots of blank film in my day.

Steve, I agree, I can't believe the number of shots that I haven't remove the lens cap, set either the aperture, or speed, didn't change the ISO/EI on my handheld meter, or worse the whole roll on the wrong camera ISO. One recently is a new folder that can be double exposed, well you know the rest. If I were you I would shorten that red ribbon and make a tie for your hand so you can't reach the shutter release unless you pull the slide. How is the Pentax 6x7 going. I really like mine, but it is a lot to haul around. I didn't take it to Ireland last month, just too much extra work.

ADD challenged and I shoot cameras with darkslides and lens caps you can't see through the viewfinder....
I've hardly touched the 6x7. No shots taken with any camera in several weeks. I've started homeschooling my oldest boy because we can't find a good public school placement for him (special needs).
40+ hours of work, plus the house, plus teaching school, plus the younger son needs attention.
No breaks for anything.

Just a pinhole camera put together from old graflex xl parts. Works great though with three possible FLs depending on the number of spacers I use.
(I didn't have the cold shoe mount on when this picture was taken.)

Wonderful - thanks!
Now of course I'd like to see some samples of the photos it takes!

Sounds like you are busy, Steve. I hope you can break away a little for photography. I had a lull in photography when I was just working.

It's pretty handy. 15, 20 and 35mm equivalent FLs...though I seem only to use the 15mm.
Here are a few.
General Sherman Tree, Sequoia National Forrest.

Tower 11, Carpenteria State Park, CA.

Bridge, Sequoia National Forrest

cool shots, Steve! I really like the beach shot ... wonderful, lonely / abandoned feeling
I had forgotten you do pinhole. (My ZeroImage 612B should be here in a few days; can't wait to shoot some pinhole panoramas.)
