I assumed you were bringing a working one. Either way, these slides shine even when held up to the light. They are some holiday pictures taken in the early 70's that I found at a market in London. The include some outrageous furnishings amongst other things.
I'll bring two working ones. The one PANA VUE wanna B uses D batteries BTW. Also because I shoot Nikon F3's with motordrives I always have mucho pen lights.

Try using a rear lens cap to grip the bayonet. This always works for me, although sometimes the ring ends up jammed in the lens cap. You can also mount it on a M body. Unless you glued it with loctite.

Just wanted to say that it was good to meet everyone -- I had heard stories of some strange hazing rituals and that I was likely going to have sacrifice body parts or some such. Gratefully, most of those turned out not to be true!
Did we get all the lens caps that John dropped under the table?

Phil -- yeah the management decided a long time ago that no images in the regional sub-forums. The SF guys have been mumbling about that for years . . .

Join us in letting the head bartender know that "inline images" should be activated. It is active on some select club forums here.
Sounds like you all had a great time! Thanks for taking Kevin off our hands

Sounds great. The studio offer is very generous. Any idea which date in Jan., and time, so I can put it on my calendar?

I leave this to Dan to organize. He should start the January thread.
