Brass is good, right Magus? The camera for me is an mp, but I want (don't really need) another mech leica--before its too late to get one new. This one sang to me...though it seems more like a collector, and i'm a heavy user!

From the little info there is about this 'model', I gather that it's an m6 ttl with brass top plate, sn # & s/e # on accessory shoe (why, oh why?!)& special 'imprinting' --

If you like it, and the price is right - go for it. I have a "collectible" M and it has become my user. Oh well....🙂

Sung?? Sang? Singed? To me?...For me...???English is not my first language. 'Sang to' seemed correct, but my command of the language tosses me sometimes. Anyway...cardboard inner box...I don't remember seeing one. The body sat in a black silk lined wood presentation case with strap, batteries, battery cover, instructions, & papers. The wood box was in a silver & black cardboard box. Unless I was so excited when I handled it, I did not notice. So, do all of 'the last 999 M6s' hase a brass body?

I jut wrote to the boys in Solms, with hope they can clear this up. I would prefer a brass body, but this is what I have been looking for: Passport, mech., .85x (for my 75 & 90 summies), & chrome. In any case, it's on hold for me until the 18th.

Ok. I did notice it looked more grey(ish) than chrome-a duller finish. At first I thought it was some crazy finish like rhodium or something...when I get the answer from Leica, I will post here...
