With B/W you might want to use a yellow filter this gives you one stop and you can also pull tri-x one stop tri-x looks great in microdol-X and will probably look great in perceptol as well.

I love Microdol X too, and always use it full strength, which knocks off a stop of exposure. Every single can I have bought on eBay was like new inside, so it seems to have a shelf life of decades and decades. Try it with Arista EDU Ultra 100 sometime Dominik, it looks wonderful. With a yellow filter, it works out to shooting it at ISO 25.
