just loaded dropbox to share my pics been ipads...tried to upload a pic from dropbox to facebook but its a no go...keeps telling me to check my facebook settings but does not say which ones...any suggestions?

Viewing the photo in the iPad Dropbox app, there are two buttons (and a star) on the top right. The first one allows me to share the pic by email, Twitter, Facebook etc. I guess you tried this?
The other button lets you save the photo to your iPad's photo library. You could do this and then post it to FB from there.

it was facebook setting that needed changing...working fine now, thanks.

I don't know anything about FB. Sorry
But when you get this sorted out, Drop Box just implemented photo albums which could be useful for some of us.

If you have a Dropbox account older than Aug '12, you can use photos in the public folder to host photos, embed them in forums like this (copy public link from the context menu in your local DB folder), and even host websites and photo galleries.
I just let Lightroom build a web slideshow and save it to my DB folder.
