Yashica Electro GTN
Hello there, the other day I bought a Voigtlander Bessa R with a 35mm Color-Skopar pancake lens, all in superb condition, for only £175 on Ebay, which I think you would agree is not a bad deal for such an excellent camera!

Without giving away ALL my sekrits...
1) Best deals recently - Bittco Super Vemar 135mm f3.5 LTM (it is *really* a Kyoei Acall. I only knew that because I know what the Kyoei looks like, and recognized it.)
2) Another Arco Tele-Colinar 135mm f3.8 LTM ($1.20 folks. Really).
I look for words spelled incorrectly, or in the wrong category. I have had some limited success with taking apart lenses and bodies and doing some minor repairs, so when the seller is honest and says that a lens is hazy or a camera body doesn't work, that's often an opportunity. But it is also a crap-shoot because sometimes haze is between elements that are cemented together, and sometimes physical damage to a camera is more than I can deal with (my abilities are pretty basic).
Some cameras I pass by because I already have one or more examples of them, and no matter how good they are, no matter how cheap they are, nobody seems to want them and they don't get sold. I try to make myself not be the 'bidder of last resort' on stuff like that. Minolta Hi-Matics are like that. Honestly, I don't know why no one wants them.
Best Regards,
Bill Mattocks

I just bought 10 brand new machined aluminum lens caps ranging from 43mm to 48mm including 4 40.5mm ones from an e-Bay BIN. The price was 99 cents ea. the Seller combined the shippping to a single 10.00 charge (still a pretty good margin for them, but fair to me as well). I left one of the 40.5mm caps unpurchased (they had 5 total) in case some one else needed one badly. They were described as being made of steel, so I guess that reduced market interest.

Doug said:Walker, that's a good deal if the Spotmatic II was in good shape! BTW, no need to use battery workarounds with a Spotmatic; they have a circuit that allows variations in voltage, so a PX 625 S silver cell will work fine.
Doug, before the battery died and when the meter was working, I used the Spotmatic II to record storm damage around my home last Fall. The pictures came out perfect and I was very pleased with the results.
Thanks for the tip about the battery. The cell that's in there now is a Wein 400. I was thinking about using an S377 silver watch battery by modifying my battery cap but I like your idea better.

I've just won a Summaron 35mm f2.8 lens with goggle for M3 and leather case, pretty good condition from the pics (will see when I got it in my hand) price $372.00 with shipping. I just don't know is it a good price for me, but if the lens could be good to take some nice photo, I will be happy to paid for that.

Hey guys. Some great bargains have been scored by you all.
I recently had some luck on Ebay as well. I mainly collect MF folders and got a near mint Franka Solida Jr recently in a lot of 3 (4 really, the seller threw in a cheap SLR lookalike) cameras. The other cameras are a Yashica TL Electro SLR in ok condition and a Neoka 35 IVS is excellent condition. It has a roll of film in it at the moment but I have yet to shoot with it. I got all these for the grand sum of $61 AUS plus $12 postage. Also included was a King folding flash. Don't know if it works but it looks good sitting atop of my Voigtlander Vito CLR.
How about a lot of 8 cameras for $71 Aus plus an antique tripod. I just won this lot the other day and they are yet to be dilivered.
When the postman delivers another package it is like christmas.
