Efke 25 at B&H

I stopped by B&H yesterday to pick up some items and I thought I'd grab some film. I asked for a couple rolls of Efke 25 and was told they were bankrupt and they no longer carried that film.

I assume this is old news, but I see a number of mentions of Efke on RFF. Where are you guys getting your Efke from? Any other ISO 25 films out there that I should try instead? Thanks.

J&C wrote me last month that they will have EFKE in September.
Now it is ADOX.

AFAIK Adox is the name that film went by some thirty years ago. I don't know when or how it became EFKE unless Afox was bought out.

I believe Freestylephoto.biz will be carrying the film under the efke name and everywhere else will have adox...all the same film...

It's great film. The Efke/Adox 25 is stunningly smooth. Try it in Rodinal 1:50 or 1:100.

That's actually why I asked. I had noticed it in the print catalog that I had picked up the weekend before.

Thanks! When my 8 rolls of APX 25 are gone I will try the EFKE/ADOX 25.

Wait. Maybe I should try the EFKE/ADOX first and horde my APX 25. Eh?

I think it is a good idea to test the EFke / Adox 25 before you ran out of APX25
