Very nice shots all! Now I am tempted to buy one. Always thought it was solid in the hand. I especially love the tire shot! Funny thing is these tires are mostly recycled into playground materials (the ground off tread), marine rubber bumpers (the outside carcass) and rings to hold down piles of animal feed (the center portion). They use everything including the squeal!

This tire looks like it's trying to get a jump on being a bumper. Seems the 22m is quite sharp and much better than the cheap Oly 17mm.

I've had mine for 6 months now and much to my surprise have even got used to using the touchscreen - still missing a viewfinder though 😕😕
A solid feeling little camera with great image quality, just a little too small to hold comfortably (only dropped it once but it needs a better grip). Hoping Canon don't forget about the series.....

It's a great value as long as you don't mind the slow-ish autofocus. Also note that battery life is crummy.

i use the franiec grip and it really helps with grip. it's pricey but if you plan to keep using the M i'd say it's worth it.

it's hard to tell if they'll keep developing the M line, it seems dead in the water lately. i just want 50mm eq and 85mm eq pancake lenses. the 40mm EF pancake becomes as big as a normal prime with the EF-to-EFM adapter.

The results on this page (and every time it comes up) always make me really tempted by the M, sadly I'm yet to find the M with the 22, and the adapter for a reasonable price (knowing what it was selling for in the US has skewed my hopes I think haha).

I bought the M body and EOS adapter to use with my current EOS lenses.
Took it on a 17 day vacation along with a 30D.
The 30D mosty stayed in the Pelican case.
Walk around was Eos 20mm 2.8 .
Also 17- 40L and 70 -200L was used.
First impression ,felt funny without viewfinder.
Touch screen so sensitive my stomach would take pictures😱
Left hand would interfere with low light auto focus beam.
I still managed to fill a 32gig card with Large JPEGS.
I like how the pictures are turning out🙂

Like that I can pocket this with the 22mm.

well, i just bought an m body with the 22mm lens, extra batteries and the photodiox grip...been looking on flickr at images taken with this combo and it's very impressive. i want a small pocketable camera but one that is highly capable and i think this might be it. i doubt i will use the grip though as i want to keep it as small as possible. no plans for extra lenses or adapters etc...want to keep it simple.
and now it's just the wait on shipping...

congrats, joe, hope you like it. it's quite good with the 22mm, although as some have noted the AF isn't made for action. well timed candid shots are possible though, as some of the pics in this thread show.

as for the stomach actuation of the touchscreen, i could see that happening, lol. i prefer to set the touchscreen so that touching it only moves the AF point, but doesn't trip the shutter.

Depth with the 22 is only 2 3/16 in and the grip adds 5/8s right side and 1/4 in to bottom.

I've noticed no problems either with autofocus or battery life.
The slow autofocus of the original (pre firmware update) was greatly exaggerated and sadly that killed the camera's sales right from the start.
