Do you have this disk? I am having trouble locating a replacement disk as mine seems to have corruption.
I would be very grateful if some kind 3170 ower could copy and burn his/her disk for me.
Thanks in advance if you do, I will surely pay for the expenses.
Or.. if you do know how to get it from Epson.. that information would be great too.

This is the link for the Epson 3170 for Windows Operating system. If you have a MAC change back to the O/S page.
You should try the one in the middle (latest)version
Download to your desktop and run from there.
Also, if you have a Vista computer, see the link for compatibilty issues with Vista (the link is in small print on the same page)

thanks!
A while ago I tried the download (first thing that comes up on google now) and it didn't have the negative scanning part.
But now it does. Maybe I didn't check or something was different from the install, or maybe they added it to the driver package -- dunno.
Some of my best new scans are from my 135mm Jupiter on my Bessa R -- it is an art lens, it makes clouds very dramatic. I took comparing photos with my Zuiko 135 and 200, and the Zuiko excels with water reflections.
I will post the link to the gallery here and add some thumbnails.
As an aside, digital still sucks, but the developing at the drugstores is getting worse and worse. Part of the problem, I believe, is that retail likes a high turnover of staff to keep wages down, and this situation creates apathy in the film departments.

I am also going to make a Zuiko gallery (film), and one for my only Nikkor, a 1.2
