Interesting essay, until you look at the photographs and see how boring, ugly and trivial they are. This seems to be a case of a critic demonstrating his own erudition by attempting to prove that he can, after all, polish a t*rd.

Or maybe the collector who owns the photographs persuaded the critic to write about them in hopes of hyping up their market value a bit...
