Euromeet 2013, "Which weekend?" poll.

(Note to Mods. This thread is intended to assist a group of members in choosing a weekend for the Euromeet. Please leave the thread in 'Travel'. Thanks.)

After the votes we have going on in the Locations Poll the other remaining question is when we will meet.

I have set out the Saturday date of each weekend within April and May, making eight weekends in all.

As we are limited with options in the poll it will be a simple choice of your preferred date or dates, as multiple voting is possible. If for example you can make time for 'only' the first three weekends in May, then vote for those weekends. I'm hoping this will give a reasonably clear result. (Wild optimism...)

If there are any really impossible weekends, then please make a comment and we can try to come to some sort of communal conclusion with that information too.

The poll for the location has 37 voters on it so far, so I hope there can be a few more to choose the weekend - even if everyone ticks all the possibilities it is useful information.

April 6th and 13th are Eastern Holiday over here (Belgium); I don't know about other countries, but it makes flights more expensive (it won't stop me, just saying ..).

Oddly we have nearly twice as many voters in the thread about the location (link) as we do here, concerning the preferred weekend. Nevertheless, there will soon need to be be some decisions made so that we can book tickets and accommodation.

Please free to vote and/or give useful information over dates, as Gliderbee has done.

With 32 votes and no activity for a day or so I think we can say that the weekends of either 18th. or 25. May are preferred over the earlier dates.

Does anyone who wishes to go on the trip have a big problem with (or strong preference for) one weekend over the other? This is sort of a last-chance request for input before a decision, so don't be shy . . .

18th might be a good weekend, since it's a longer weekend ("Pinksteren" over here. I don't know about ohter countries) The Monday following that people don't work over here.

As there are few comments about overriding the poll result I suggest that we will be holding our Euromeet during the weekend of 18th.May.

The location poll has a surprising number of late voters, but earlier still suggested we will be going to Prague.

Prague during the weekend of 18th.May 2013.

After a short pause for sleep, there will be a thread for hints and tips from all those concerned over what we might want to do and see, where we may stay, how we may travel and so on.
