Right. That's how it was for us for 48 years. She was an angel. Now she has Alzheimer's and there's only a little left.

I have an old squeeze who is pretty much gone now. We had our ups and downs. But if I could I would have her dementia removed. I cannot. Sometimes she is there but mostly she is not. Lots of friends and relatives are there now. The ice is thin out here. I am grateful for what I have, and for what I do not have.

An old friend.
As with many such relationships, many good memories..................and some bad. (Sounds pretty normal to me.)
I do not know why the photo is so soft............it just is, perhaps because it is one of very few which still exist or can be found.

So am I. At my current stage in life, I am far beyond threads starting with "whither digital or film?"

(Yes, I wrote 'whither' and not 'wither', tho' at times I do feel the two are interchangeable.)

Where there are still human emotions at play, there is hope. As I've always believed.

So gratifying to discover many others do also.

Carry on, please, everyone. I hope this thread goes on forever...

This has been a pleasant thread to lurk. The overall age of this forum is slightly older than me. It's always nice to read others' wisdom and experiences - whether it be photography related, or otherwise.

Here is an ex of mine from nearly 20 years ago. She would've been 46 yesterday, but passed a few weeks back from cancer. She taught me how to use a camera and develop film, which has been a passion of mine ever since.
