Sounds very nice. I will have to bring something extra strange to win it. It happens, I have a rollfilm back that could be made to work with it. Hmm...
😀😀😀
Sam,
No one in recorded history has won back to back grand prizes. Good Luck. I suggest you bring out your nuclear weapon because this years prize is a great-great-great one worth fighting for. Remember our only rule: "No Biting." LOL.
The Busch Pressman has not a single issue and I would say that the shutter speeds are spot on. I has a CalArt rangefinder, an external VF'er and also ground glass. I say the only thing that would make this a better camera is if it was a 4x5 version.
While available as a prize I will now limit the competition to raise the level of aggression of the contest to the "Bargain Contest" which has a limit set by B-9 of a cost of under $250.00. Also know that this camera is also my entry into the bargain camera contest, so basically you will be fighting with me for my own camera. Know that I willingly offer this camera as a prize because it really should be used and that with just a film back it is good-to-go, but with me this camera will likely be just a trophy/shelf queen, and I deem that is not a good thing.
Also know that Christion has some Linoff that he has as a contender that he only paid $200.00 for. Like the NSA I'm just passing on the smut.
As always the verdict of the mob rules and not always does the best camera win (ask John Chee) LOL.
BTW I was a bad boy and the "Canson Trial' pack is no longer available as a prize. Sorry. I found the Baryta and Plantine Fiber Rage too tempting to try in my new printing rig.
Many thanks to Christian for being my help desk when I felt exasperated and was stuck on how to import some profile/curves into the LR5 library so I could softproof. As you know from other years "Bribes are allowed." LOL.
Know that I favor the Busch Pressman going to someone that will use it. You having a back already weighs strongly in your favor. I'd bring that back to the "Camera Convention."
