I loaded the FED -2 derivative with a roll of Kodak Gold 200 after mounting the Industar-22 3.5/50, taking care not to engage the Infinity Lock so I could focus it later on. And speaking of focusing, since it doesn't have a rangefinder, scale focusing gives you the time to convert distances from feet to meters.
It does have a light leak, somewhere in the take-up spool area it seems. Will have to do the flashlight test to see where it is. And the second shutter curtain is still dragging, so I'll have to give it one more adjustment. Exposures look good on the right 2/3 of the frame, but then that's where the light leak is. Oh well, back to the workbench.

Dragging Shutter by br1078phot, on Flickr
Worst in this first exposure, it got better as the day wore on. Could use a bit more adjustment to eliminate it completely.
No correction, full frame.

Light Leak by br1078phot, on Flickr
This showed up in varying degrees on almost all the exposures. Totally ruined a few shots, but I was able to crop it out of most of them. The shutter drag is already getting better.
No correction, full frame.

Two Light Problems by br1078phot, on Flickr
Upper right is the leak, and upper left looks more like a flare. But I think it's just the leak bleeding over from the next frame.
Exposure correction, full frame.

Here is the same frame 4 after cropping out the light problems.
Exposure correction, cropped.

Zarya-P7700 Comparo by br1078phot, on Flickr
Two full-frame un-retouched views with the FED on the left, and the Nikon on the right. I knew there was a good reason to take the Coolpix along on this test.

Loose Wheel by br1078phot, on Flickr
Heavily cropped to eliminate the leak, but I still had to use the "Spot Healing Brush" to get rid of what I couldn't crop. No exposure compensation this time.
Cropped, spotted.

Permanently Parked by br1078phot, on Flickr
Farewell for now, time to move on to another location. But I'll revisit this relic as time goes by. You may remember this truck from an earlier set I did for 120 Day.
Exposure correction, cropped.

At The Divide by br1078phot, on Flickr
This is between the road, and the railroad, as the tracks go into a cut.
Cropped.

Variated by br1078phot, on Flickr
Layers of differing rock make up the geology in the Appalachians, as this was all under water eons ago.
Cropped.

Sheandoah Line Cut by br1078phot, on Flickr
Former Norfolk and Western (now Norfolk Southern) main heading north through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley to Hagerstown, Maryland.
Cropped.
