The Shirley Wellard doesn't fit ltm Leicas and I assume Fed I. Dunno about Fed 2.
Thanks, another job I can strike off of the list...
EDIT; Thinking about the base plates of FED and Zorki 1's and the Leica model II I wondered what cassette fitted the USSR made bodies and the answer is that FILCAs don't but pre-war pre-loaded and reloadable Agfa cassettes fit and so do modern ones. Even if the (slightly fatter) FILCAs fitted there's no way the camera will open the cassette as there's just a latch for the base plate and it fouls the FILCA. Don't try putting a FILCA in a FED 1 or Zorki 1 as it will jam tight if you do manage to force it in.
You've no idea how tedious it is sitting with a dozen cassettes of all shapes and sizes and a few old cameras and playing mix and match for a couple of hours.
That makes me wonder what a pre-war USSR 35mm cassette looked like or did they just use Agfa's ones?

EDIT, I deleted this picture from smugmug by mistake and think it went here originally...
Interesting to see how the FED became the FED 2 with its echoes of the Contax; giving people the best of both worlds with the long base RF, simplicity of the Leica and the removable back and Contax style cassettes. And those Contax or Leica developed lenses in front. Quite a heady mixture.
