Kudos for Yuri Boguslavasky and his crew at FEDKA.COM. On 10/17 I sent him my Zorki "C" for a CLA, curtain replacement and a film take-up spool. It was returned to me on 10/27 with all the items completed and at a reasonable price. I have already put one roll of film through it and am very pleased with the results. This organization was a pleasure to work with. Yuri kept informed about the progress of the work, the return shipment dare and a tracking number. I look forward to doing business with them in the future. If you have an FSU camera in need of service this might be a good resource for you. I highly recommend them.

I agree. I purchased a Jupiter 12 on Yuri's recommendation and received an excellent lens. You can purchase items cheaper elsewhere, but I trust Yuri to do the deal right.

Dealing with fedka has always been a pleasure for me. The one item that wasn't right (Kiev with a shutter problem) was replaced quickly and courteously. I should add that my one problem was out of 3 cameras 7 lenses purchased so far. Yuri is absolutely worth the price.
 
I, too have had several transactions with Yuri.All have been great.Glad to hear all the good feedback on his CLA's.He's getting a Fed 2 from me soon... Robin
 
I didn't know he does repairs. He lives and works one neighborhood away from me and I can walk over a camera and later pick it up. Hmmm.; good to know, thanks, Tom.

The workshop they use for their CLA's is actually up in the Bronx - might be a longer walk for you.

I'm biased as hell towards Fedka. I've had Yuri CLA my Kiev 4a and Zorki 4 in the past couple of months and I've been very impressed by the service. Turnaround is about ten days door to door and prices are very reasonable.

Ordered a couple of lenses from him tonight as well.
