Hi,

I used to use bulk film loading, (the quality of film holders was dismal).
This was less important with the nikon system I was using at the time.

What type of film cannisters, and where to acquire them for the leica m6?

Thanks for any assistance

I use canisters from the local C41 lab - ask them to save you the empty ones and you can then reload, cellotaping the bulk film onto the little tongue left hanging out.

Use them once and then chuck them, before reloading, chuck any that look minging.

sorry, guess i ment
the reusable type yhat you buy.

I do as Kully said in his post. I used to buy them but getting them from a one hour lab for me is the way to go.

PM me if you want more information on this technique.

Freestyle Photo sells them brand new. Myself I buy used Kodak Snap Caps (come 10 to a box), I find them sometimes on Ebay. For bulk rolling with a machine, I do as the other guys here have stated, and get throwaways for the one hour labs around here. Those are free and work just great.
