Hi there

After many years of usage without any problems it happened yesterday, an APS film remaining stuck in my APS Video Photo Player.

These devices are for APS negative preview on TV. There are still a few around from Minolta, Fuji and other labels (same devices). I use it frequently for my many rolls of more than one decade of APS shootings, before I give some images to scan service. See 1st image

Yesterday the film stripe had stuck around image 08. My attempts to pull the film out of the device crumpled images 07 up to 10. Of course I will cut the film and luckily, there are no important images up to number 10. My main concern is to ruin the scanning mechanic of the device or to misalign the scan head.

Anyway: I will have to disassemble some parts.
See closeup of 2nd image
There are many small and wider screws to release, which I don't know exactly which parts will fall away if I unscrew there...

Please have a look at my 3rd image with the marked film path to the inner spool.

Is there any out there with some advice, which parts of the scanning device could be disassembled without loosing some difficult scan head alignments?

Thank you for any comments.

There was no usable solution. I unscrewed as many screws I did reach and finally I got the film out of the device.

Reassembling the whole thing was not a problem, but it seems the transport mechanism is gone.

Luckily I had a spare one apart. So I can still preview developed APS rolls.

And I will buy a next spare too, as long they are available now and then.
