I bought the camera with the Olympus 12/2
so here you have some shots with E-M5 and 12/2

let's start with some black & white shots (converted with Silver Efex)

P1010031.jpg

1/13" f2 - 400 iso

P1010017.jpg

1/13" f3.5 - 1600 iso

P1010001.jpg

1/10" f3.5 - 800 iso

P1010008.jpg

1/30" f3.5 - 1600 iso

using the 12/2 I really appreciated the electronic levels in the viewfinder

and now a "IS TEST" (out of camera jpeg)

P1010029.jpg

1.3" f2 - 200 iso handheld ( not bad at all... )
the yellow cast is due to the strong yellow lights

now two indoor shots in an old and decadent building, with poor light

P5120061.jpg

1/60" f2.8 - 1600 iso ( i selected -1.3 ev for the shot, but when at home I
thought it was a mistake, so i had to recover the light in Aperture)

P5120063.jpg

1/4" f2.8 - 200 iso -0.7 ev (same mistake, recovered from jpeg in post processing)

A lot of dynamic range for what I could do here (look at the window)

now an exemple of "art filter", here I selected "dramatic tone", looks nice to me...

another nice "plus" of the E.M5 is the swivel display: I used it to shoot at the roof of a church: noyhing to write home, but a lot of fun, and useful for street shots, also

P5120147.jpg

1/80" f2.8 - 800 iso

and now a landscape in strong back-light (more a test for the lens, I must say)
P5120187.jpg

1/640 f7.1 - iso 200
I opened a bit the shadows "on board" ( it work... )

ok, that's all, for now. Thank you for watching
Franco

Congratulations! Pleasant B&W, hi-ISO response is fine, jpeg colors are OK, image stabilization FAN-TAS-TIC! (Don't use those art filters, please!)

Which lens? Waiting for the well processed RAW shots..

Ciao, I do not know how but I missed this thread. Interesting, I have interest in this camera as well, thank you for posting the images. Did you try to print large format (like A3+) ?

PS: forse prima o poi verrò in Liguria...

Ciao Robert!
I didn't print anything yet... Waiting to have something that really deserve a print ;-)
I never had any problem with the E-PL1, so I'm confident about the this new "giant-killer",
take a look at my dedicated set on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/spiderfrank/sets/72157629767829136/
I'm really happy with this camera: good image quality, great quality and a joy to shoot with

ps: fatti sentire, se vieni in Liguria!
