Hack.
Hi guys,
Here's a few from my recent acquistion - a 35RC - $13 from KEH!
This one was shot indoors, with film that was way too slow. It was entirely guesswork, the meter wouldn't let me take a pic in this light so I went for f2.8, 1/15th, range focussed and hope for the best! It was certainly a different experience to what I'm used to.
I shot this one at 1/500th, aiming to underexpose the scene, and used a flash just right of camera to light Snuffa. I used the flashmatic mode for this - I'm impressed with how accurate the flash exposure is. I suspect the shutter speeds are slow though, as the background really should have been darker.
(apologies for the quality of the scans 😱 )
Anyway, I have a question:
occasionally, when outside in bright light, the camera won't let me take a photo in A-mode. As I press the shutter, I can see the aperture needle swing all the way left, past f2.8. I don't think my shutterspeeds were unreasonable for the circumstances (1/250th or so), so what gives?
