first version summicron what to do?

the scrathes do not bother me but this halo thing seems bad. please note this lens was free to me, and the pics are sharp from it but flares easily and has very low contrast.

what kind of damage am i looking at?
i had sent this to Essex and they relubed the helix.
can the Solms factory repair this? or should i send it to john at focal point (prabably both expensive)

190 bucks for a CLA and recoat at focalpoint. Good investment for a 35/2 v1.

The Halo is coating related, too.

i tried to look closer at the problem.
i removed the front element, but it came out as a unit.
the problem is inbetween the front and second element.
does anyone have a lens diagram for this lens? i could only clean the outside of this area. i reassembled it and its just like i started with.
