Voigtlander 50mm f/1.5 Nokton, uh... Mark I?
jdos2 said:The name "Nokton" has been used a couple of times. The orignal "Nokton" reference was to the Voigtlander Prominent and LSM 50mm of the 50's- it's a lens with a good reputation, if heavy and somewhat "overbuilt."
jdos2 said:I think so. I'm fond of the system. Body shouldn't be but $100 or so, unless you wanna get the one with the big finder (that's rather more) but the Nokton I've seen go for more than $150. Sadly, you are competing with folks that buy 'em and turn 'em into LSM (KEVINCAMERAS.COM, for instance).
The Nokton is great. The 50mm f/2 is better, and completely contemporary, with the standard "single coating" exception.
