Breaking Bad, some top shelf blue meth

Breaking Bad.JPG

OK, this is the blue meth from Breaking Bad. It was and is made by The Candy Lady in Albuquerque. I bought it on a visit to ABQ. It is way cheaper than crystal meth, $10 a bag. But that is high for rock candy. A great souvenir of the show. And that shop is making some real money selling the "blue meth."

Sometimes I think I should surrender to reality and just do B&W. Color is in such short supply here. This one is a DNG (RAW) file converted with Photopea to JPG but with no other editing. King tide, low tide, view south across the Columbia.

This is from last spring, Wild Peas on the side of the road. They are real peas and bear fruit, tiny little peas, fun to graze on at water's edge.

Pentax Q-S1, 02 Standard Zoom, 8.5mm (39mm standard 35mm lens equivalent), f/2.5, 1/125, ISO 100

Another from "The Giant Killer", the Pentax Q-S1. A lane in Oysterville

Contax I(e), some Fuji color film, my recollection trying an old camera out. Lens, maybe Jupiter 12 but did not record. Could be Sonnar 50 1.5 or F2. Some days everything just seems to be out of focus. Getting some where or some place in a fog...just out there... I had hoped to have the bee at least sharp but the color is good enough. I remember finishing up Naval Flight Training detached to the Navy, in the Coast Guard, in Corpus Christi, Texas. There was this flight, an entire morning flying "on instruments" they called it "Going to the Valley". We went from one instrument approach to the missed approach to holding to the next city and next airport the next controller with mixed simulated navigation aid failures and aircraft emergency simulations and the next airports weather conditions frequency and approach and missed approach brief and the next fix and the most I saw outside was the number of the runway....as was intended never to touch down until we were back at home field, NAS Corpus Christi. Great training. Compliments of the U.S. government taxpayers. Thank you! c1f2.jpg

Did the bee get NFT, too? ;o) She is looking pretty good on approach.
