If introducing the xe-2 means I can get the xe-1 at 50% of last year's price, sure....
It was already selling for as low as $500 before the announcement.

I don't think we are sure the next X-Pro camera will be FF, it could be the next X200 if other rumours are correct but I hope not. If Fuji were to bring out a FF X100s (X200) and still have a fixed 35 mm equivalent lens, in my mind that would be a big mistake. Any FF camera that Fuji could bring out would need to compete with Sony's new FF Mirrorless cameras (A7/7s). I have to say that had sony brought out the A7/7s last year I'd have bought one and it would have save me a lot of trouble. I'd gone through a Leica M9 and an Nikon d600 before settling on on my X100s bought earlier this year: I wanted a FF camera. I now have my X100s as a second camera to backup my X-Pro 1 and three prime lenses. I still want a FF camera but that is something that I cannot afford now as I have no job just now and no money, but if Fuji were to bring out a FF framed camera such as an X-Pro camera, once I could afford to I'd buy one most definitely! Regarding Fuji saying the current camera mount not being the correct mount for a larger sensor size, that suggestion has been shot down as Sony's X mount is the mount used in the new A7/7s camera and, if my memory serves me, the Cybershot (formerly NEX) are X mount cameras and those lenses can be used in the new A7/7s range of camera bodies (with vignetting or cropping) and the new lenses are FX lenses: in oherwords, FF X lenses. So that suggests to me that a FF framed X-Pro camera could be a FF censored camera using the current lenses with some vignette and/or cropping, and that would mean new FF frame lenses would have to come out too. (I've had in the last three years, after selling my Nikon D90: A sony NEX-5n A Leica M9 (sold and replaced by a Nikon D600) A Nikon D600 with 50 mm prime and the kit lens, sold to buy the X100s) A Fujifilm X-Pro1 and the first three prime lenses (bought before the Leica, X-Pro still own and enjoy) A Fujifilm X100s ( on my second one due a faulty first model (still owned for now until a FF Fujifilm comes out)) GAS Or what :-/Why is everyone so certain the X Pro 2 is going to be FF? I thought the way the mount was designed would make it physically impossible/exceptionally difficult to engineer something like simply stuffing a bigger sensor in instead of the APS-C one (I remember some Fuji exec saying this, but I could be mistaken). Something to do with the overall mount size or flange distance vs lens elements necessary to cover full-frame images (ie: oblique rays in the corners or vignetting)...

Where? Last I saw it was still way more expensive. Maybe I need to look at eBay instead of B&H...
Just put the cat amongst the pidgeons, a FF x camera seems unlikely, does the range of lenses out have enough coverage to fill a sensor and still have the good reputation they have now?.
Shoot me down if you like but surely the pixel density and increase in sensitivity and processing behind the sensor will out weigh the need for a "full frame", bare in mind that 35mm frame size was only picked as an arbitrary format due to movie makers and then took a few years before it was taken seriously buy users more use to roll and plate film sizes. Maybe the hunt for a full frame might be eclipsed by a smaller format perfection.

I briefly tried the X-E2, and it felt exactly the same as the X-E1. Unfortunately, there was no chance for direct comparison, but I did try the X-E1 about 30 minutes earlier. There are some cosmetic and usability differences, but they are minor. I own neither camera and this is based on perhaps 15 minutes of testing.
Is there a difference in image quality from the sensor?
I am asking this weather I should buy a X-Pro1 now or wait for a x-Pro2...
