Well, the 45mm focal length will be unique for me... even if it's only 5-7mm less than my usual favorite. I really like 45-58mm lenses a lot. I haven't had a 45mm since the Sigma DP2 Merrill.
Jsrockit, absolutely right. 24 f3.5 is a very familiar idea for rangefinder users. That's why I love mine. It's stuck to my FP at the moment.

The Sony has a horrible EVF and equally as nasty ergonomics. Fuji makes camera...Sony makes appliances.
What you have to accept though these days is software distortion correction. These new fangled lenses aren't like the jewel-like optical marvels of old.
Hi Pyeh!
Firstly, thank you for responding to my post where I asked you about the Sigma 24mm f3.5 DG DN "Contemporary" lens.
Since then I bought the 24mm f3.5 lens in E-mount for use on my Sony A7III “camera”.
I’ve been out for the last 2 days shooting with it and I’m thoroughly delighted with it. Money well spent.
I just thought I’d share that with you.
All the best,
Mike
G Series 24mm 2.8, 40mm 2.5, and 50mm 2.5
Sony keeps making things interesting...
Sony G Series 24mm 2.8, 40mm 2.5, and 50mm 2.5... all small and with aperture rings.

But Sony aperture rings override the use of control wheel for that purpose anyhow.Holy smokes!
This 24MP FF A7C has (almost) everything that I need when I finally replace my beloved 24MP APS-C NEX-7.
Just missing the tri-nav wheels.
A7C is only 109g heavier... incredible.

Fuji cameras do not have Sony menus.
IMO, that's a big advantage.
