Fuji X-Pro1 due on March 20?

I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to cause trouble between you and the store. I saw it posted in another forum... one I believe you also go to.

No biggie. Looks like the tweet and the email crossed paths with just a few minutes gap.

The good news, is they say the shipment will 'substantially' fill their order so looks like availability will not be an issue.

I don't understand that, as the reps have been mum on allocation numbers...

Called Adorama / BH and according to both:

"It will be available in 4-6 weeks"

HUH?

I am hoping that the people who answered the phones were not informed.

Doing a lot of work away from the computer today. I check in every once in a while, hoping to see a flood of comments about U.S. shipments arriving.
Alas, I keep being disappointed....

Ahaha, US folks waiting for a product Canada got. Time to laugh and feel our pain. Usually it is the other way around,

Saw this "tweet" posted on the Fuji X forum today by user Christopher, though it might be encouraging:

"Brandon Remler with Fujifilm USA has confirmed that X-Pro1's are leaving Fujifilm's warehouse today, so they should be hitting stores tomorrow! https://twitter.com/#!/brandonremler/status/185132684648005633"

That's encouraging, because B&H just pushed their expected availability date to April 4th

There was never much chance of getting one before this weekend. A mid-week shipment via 2nd day would arrive Friday; it would require an overnight shipment Saturday delivery from the dealer at that point.

Jokes, sir, jokes... I just meant that I can forget about this camera this weekend and use what I have. Plus, if they had got to stores on the 28th, one could have gotten delivery.

That never was going to happen, though (getting to stores on the 28th.) Everyone wanted to believe B&H's website error instead. Wishful thinking.
