It Is What It Is
It's a freaking camera! Now that a lot of the hipe has left the conversation about it ,it just seems that some folks like it. .. ... and some do not. Me well I'll keep checking the camera bin at Good Willeys.

Correction... It's a freaking unbelievable camera!
Used mine tonight at a local hardcore concert in the city, It was extremely dark inside so I had to sit around iso3200-5000, f2, 1/40th, JPEG only. The results are froth-worthy. Truly epic for something so small, quiet and cheap. The lens is absolutely wonderful too!

Yes, it's a great camera. And even if the viewfinder is not a rangefinder, it's bloody good!
But as good as the cam is, it's not that fantastic, not as amazing as I have wished for.
I had the chance to shoot with it for two months and I liked it a lot, but not enough to buy one. If I lived in a big city, I perhaps would think differently. To me it seems to be a really good "street cam".
I now hope that the NEX-7 offers all the nice things that the X100 has plus some new featuers, such as exchangeable lenses and a faster AF.
