Dear RangefinderForumians;

From what I can see from my Fujica cameras, and from the repair manual that I got from ebay, the shutters are all the same, and the repair manual says "replace" when there is a shutter problem.

So; are these standard elements, and if so, who sells them??

I honestly did not think that they would be drop-in replacements, but would have some info on repairing them in the manual. I have a GS645S that sticks sometimes on 1/2 and 1 sec.

Anyone know more than the little I do on this topic?

Thanks; JohnS.

Shutter disassembly link

Ok - found this link, FYI:

http://pheugo.com/cameras/index.php?page=seikosha

which I think are the shutters (or, close to it) for these Fujica rangefinders. I have the machine shop and skills to make parts and tooling; maybe I'll make the requsite tooling and take my 645S apart and figure out why on the very slow speeds the shutter sometimes hangs open. But then again, maybe not. 8-()
