^^ Please, do we get to see any of the last 2 rolls? 🙄
The Blurb book is great - the choice of black cover/pages w/ white text was good.
Couple friendly comments on the book...
I really wish this image of the cook had been included in the book, it was one of my favorites. Would have sat well on the page across from the crew sitting around the table watching tv.
(also, given he cooked the best french fries you ever ate, it would add one more thing to the book that has meaning to you).
There are a few images of the crew with fish up to their knees, but I love the following one because it shows a nice progression, and it's very dynamic.
One of my favorite threads on RFF.
I have been planning to shoot a similar project myself but lack the contacts to get on one of these trawlers.
The link containing text sadly doesn't work for me, I get 404 error.
It would be nice to hear your comments on how your life was during the stay.
Did you just shoot or had you do some work there as well? And about the cameras you had with you- was it any harder to keep them clean than shooting on land.
The pictures are great and if you'd add a brief story/description to your Blurb book, I'll be sure to buy it!
Great stuff. The photos really emphasize how hard they are working. The tight composition really shows the contrast between the hard work on the small boat (and I'm guessing the small profits!) and the unfriendly openness all around them. What kind of catch will it be today? Just like a photographer. 🙂
