'good' starter dslr

back alley, when you're ready to buy a D90,drop me a message.I have mint one with less than 2000 shutter actuations for a good price.Still has about a year of Canadian warranty left on it.

Perfect solution! Won't have to ship it across the border that way.

There's lots to love with a D90. I have a D80 and I lust over the D90's better high-ISO performance, less noise on really long exposures (ie, several minutes) and much faster "motor drive" (I think D80 tops out at barely over 3 frames per second). I recently bought a D7000 which is even better in both regards and meters with MF lenses in addition.

By the way, unless I'm mistaken, the D80, D90, D200 and above all have pentaprism finders while the D70 had mirrors. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
