Got any Steampunk Cameras?

Thanks Rick. Your honest assessments of cameras you have tried are extremely helpful. I wish I could have found the Prism finder top, but the magnified 90 degree finder is pretty nice. Tilted back it becomes a Kontur finder with illuminated frames suitable for 100 and 150 mm lenses, so I don’t miss out on a true Voigtlander “eyes wide shut” experience.

I've now managed to get two rolls of AGFA Retro 80 127 film. Seems to be working, although how light tight it is remains to be seen.

Perhaps it is suggestive of Bauhaus sensibilities? I personally like it. Clean, uncluttered, imminently functional, and somehow attractive because of that.

That is a coupled rangefinder attachment! The RoBoT didn’t have a rangefinder because the motor was in the way, so they came up with this. It couples to 3 different lenses, 37.5, 40 and 75mm, with a feeler that rides on the front of the lens as you focus and steers the mirror. Unfortunately, not all lenses of a given length were alike, so you had to have the right combination of lenses and rangefinder attachment … I had to add 2mm to the feeler to make it work with this lens.
