I've come into a couple of rolls of unexposed Kodacolor-X and I'm wondering what I should do with it. Home processing C-22 seems like a big headache, especially since I haven't even done C-41 so far. So I'm leaning towards treating it like B&W.
The stuff has a 1968 expiration date. What kind of speed should I expect? Half of the original 64, or even worse? Recommended developer and times?
I've tried a search in this and other forums but I keep finding threads about film that's found exposed, and saving what's on it. Me, I just don't want to toss what might still be usable film.
I have no interest in sending it out to a specialty lab.

I'm inclined to think this might be of more value to you as a souvenir rather than to try and get any usable photos. I think you will find the film is in metal film holders.

Goodness no. If I ever start keeping rolls of film around for sentimental reasons, I'll have my head checked.
If nobody has a better idea, I'll just dunk it in D-76 and see what happens. Either that, or out in the trash with it (after saving the spools, it's 620).
