Has French PHOTO gone belly up?

For the last twenty-five years I've been a huge fan of the French magazine PHOTO. Used to pick it up at the Newsstands when I live in NYC, then subscribed to it when I moved back to Chicago, and for the last few years, when I couldn't find it at Barnes & Noble, I could always see it online.

But now when you go to their web site:

www.photo.fr

There is nothing.

Anyone know if they are gone for good?

Don't know about their business situation but our local Barnes and Noble has it on the rack.

Usually Barnes & Noble gets them about a month or two after they're published in France, so I wonder if they have "NOS", new old stock.

My concern is that their web site has been down for over a week now, and a Google search doesn't even link to the web site anymore.

Could be they are cleaning up the site due to the new German law.

That's possible, hadn't thought about that. Or maybe the new German law will make the site impossible to maintain.

just for the record, the new law (GDPR) is not a german one, but a european.
