I received an M6 in the mail today and the first lens I'm plan to shoot with is the ELMAR-M 1:2,8/50mm. And I'm a bit baffled. It collapses and expands. The instructions say:
When I fully extend the lens and turn a bit to the right, I hear a click. But I can still collapse the lens back in. How will I know when it's properly "locked"?
I'm new at this. Any advice is appreciated.
The camera is only ready for use when the ELMAR-M 1:2,8/50mm has been fully extended and locked.
