zm 21/4.5 is awesome, otherwise 35 is universal wide

35mm is too close to your 50mm F2. Better get a wide lens already than a "normal" 35mm FOV but that my opinion.
Also don't go for the 24 or 25mm (the VC skopar 25mm is a killer lens with super rendering!) but choose directly 21mm FOV, the leica one is expensive but you can't go wrong with it!

I recently had to make a similar decision (lucky us!) when my Zeiss Ikon arrived with its Planar 50/2. I decided that along with the CV 21 I've been planning for some time to order a CV 35/1.4 as well. One of the benefits of this set is that I can use the same set of 43 mm filters and hoods with a single step-up ring for the 21. I know not everyone uses filters, but if you do then it's not a bad idea to only have to carry one set regardless of which lens(es) you take with you. Not that you don't already have a lot to consider to begin with...

People say that 35 and 50 are too close but I find them very different. After all, a 50 covers about half the area of a 35.
For that matter, on reflexes, I find a 58 unreasonably different from a 50. And Frances loves 18 but has little time for 15 or 21 (we'd both like a WATE, though).
Cheers,
R.
