no wonder my nails never go in.My resin arm hammer is no match for this new and improved model. P.S. my flabby arm might be a big factor too as well as my tri focal specs gotta be able to see the nail first

I left my 26oz framing hammer at a site a few years ago and never got it back. I still miss it. Yeah, I could buy a new one and will. First things first.
I always loved using an 18lb broad face/pointed maul for firefighting access and overhaul in the Navy. I learned that I could use that tool to punch through 1/4" of steel bulkhead in under a minute. Faster than the exothermic cutter! Don't even get me started on the alloy bulkheads. Less than 10 hits to punch a hole big enough to access the space with a nozzle.
Ahhh, hammers.
That is a great satire. Perfect for RFF as well as all the other forums I've seen out there.

I really like the threads where people post pictures of their hammers under the title "hammer porn."

AdaptedLensFreak: I've tried using the TB15SS with a head from an old Stanley 51-169, but it seems to hit the nails at an oblique angle, much too soft.

We need a smilie with a link to that item - I reckon it would get a lot of use. Thanks for sharing.

Funny! Thanks for the link.
They missed this:
I worry about my expensive hammer drawing attention and the risk of theft, so I cover the Logo and shiny parts with tape.

My Red Dot Glows For You
If only it had one user asking whether chrome or black would be best, another user typing "who cares!", another saying "shame on Stiletto" and the predictable "my Nikhammer is better", it would have been a more realistic Hammerforum
