Hi,
I have got an used Nikon d200... the camera is in very good conditions but when i rise the iso (over 200) or increase the exposure time, on the photo appear many hot pixels (not 1 or 2 but more than 10 i believe).
I don't think they are dead pixels since they are colorful and they don't appear at iso 100-200.
So far i have to take raw pictures and after let Camera raw do the job... but it is quite a boring procedure. (i prefer jpg)
What about remapping the sensor, is it a good idea? is it an expensive procedure?
(together with it, i would like also a sensor cleaning... i have some small spots at values > F11
Thanks

I cannot fathom why you would want to shoot in .jpeg.
I really do not think the computer can decide how to "correct" a image, that's what a .jpeg is....altered by algorithums in your cameras computer. I'm not sure what you are calling "hot pixels" ?...Is it "noise" on the edges?
Not sure about "spots" at f11....If the sensor is dirty, the spots are always there.

sensor might be dirty. I assume your hot pixels look something like this...
