post-process photos to achieve the following two looks. One for color and one specific to b&w portraits.

I follow Yanidel's blog and love the color of his photos. How do I get that look? Are they processed or directly from the camera? It is fantastic work. The url is Street Photography in Paris

Next, how do I get the look of this photo: B&W Portrait

I have googled various things but I don't know exactly what to search for. All tips/suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I looked at the B+W pic because that's mainly what I do. In order to get that look, you need to find someone old with wrinkles and use lighting that skims the surface to emphasise the texture.

Yanidel's Paris photos are great. I like the less-saturated look of the colors. Post-processing?

wonderful portrait and the streets of Paris are excellent, NO idea how he does it but i still like it🙂 Reminds me of hand colored black and white prints ... sort of

Also ...it's not quite the same, but there is a good article about the use of dodge and burn on www.overgaard.dk/leica_digilux2.html
you may be able to get something like the black and white portrait using that method???
