I have about 25 or 30 that I seem to use semi-regularly and another 15 or 20 that I would like to add to the mix (they need to be serviced).

Oh, and I forgot this one, currently on the back burner as I've been finishing a project before the leaves and/or bugs are out in full force...

Oh man, SWEET

Raid, that's the politically correct answer here, but I can't believe you're really that cold and unemotional about your cameras.

I use my Pentax 10d, a holga, a brownie, A compact lumix, bessa R, and for last one I change up between my rangefinders. Right now Konica auto S2. Also testing a new Minolta highmatic 7s.

For professional work - I swap between:

Horseman VHR
Horseman LX
Rolleiflex
Nikon D200

For fun - I regularly swap between:

Canon P
Canon F1N
Rolleiflex
Rollei 35
Oly XA
Wisner 4x5

I usually have two cameras with me when i go out shooting, I shoot black & white with my Bessa R3A, color in my Leica CM.
for digital I use a canon powershot G9 which is a wonderfull digital p/s, as long as you understand its flaws and learn how to work around them. I also have a Canon EOS 1N, which gets very ltiitle use these days, an old Mamiya 645 for medium format, and a 4x5 Speed Graphic.

Right now I have an MP and Mamiya 7 with me. The RF645 will go back to the Uk on the next trip and prob end up for sale. When home I also grab the eos 3 when I need a SLR.

However, there are quite a few more that don't get regular use by virtue of me not needing LF in Kabul!

I use three Bessa's L R2 and R4M, canon RF GIII, Digital SLR, Pentax M42 mount SLR, and three medium format cameras that I regularly use.

I also collect stuff but most are not users. One set are cameras I either owned and still have or had, sold and looking for a replacement.....

Frank,

There are no deep emotions for the cameras, even though I smile when I see any of the cameras. I am happy when using the cameras. This may sound like a contradiction of terms.

I truly wish i could say 2 or three, but sadly, it's in the 6-10 range. I routinely TRAVEL with at least 6.... My last trip to South America:

Hasselblad 203FE
Zeiss Ikon
Canon EOS3
Contax T3
Panasonic LX3
Leica R7

In addition, the stuff i left behind: Leica CM, Contax Aria, Nikon F80. And, i should have had a Canon dSLR, but i sold my 5D too early and haven't taken delivery of the MkII.

But, i will, eventually, sell a couple of the film SLRs. And, maybe the Ikon at some point. I'd like to have it down to the Hassy, 5D2, the Fuji GA645i i just acquired, and a T3. Sheesh. Even that sounds like too much.... I really admire (but don't understand) people who shoot with one camera for years. But, in a way, i must think it's the sign of limited interests. You sorta have to restrict yourself to one kind of photography. I guess it's easier if you're a 'street' shooter. I'm certainly not like those guys on dpreview, who have a lens to cover every possible focal length, from fisheye, to 600mm. I need only 24 to 100mm or so. And, anything outside of 35 to 85 is a rarely used luxury. I, essentially, shoot people: fashion/portraits/nudes, and some 'travel.' One would think i could do that with two cameras, right?

ff digital and 35mm film. I have more cameras, but my ability limits me to two at one time. Lenses are another consideration.... ;-) It's nice to shoot both in the same format.

Casey

I use these about every day or so
1 Bessa R2A
2 Canonet QL17 GIII
3 Canon 20d
The rest of my gear sits , i should really sell the stuff that sits

CV Bessa R4m
CV Bessa R3a
CV Bessa L
Panasonic TZ3

These are the cameras I use most. I sometimes use a Canon 10D, Elan 7e, Nikon F2 and Nikon FE2. My FSU cameras rarely see daylight - the Kiev 4 has never been used. Perhaps a little thinning of the herd should be done????

simple : I have two and use them both. Different film speeds in them. Currently waiting for my "new" M3 to be returned from Don, so then it will be three in use with a 50 glued to the M3.

I have four cameras but rarely will I carry even 2 of them at a time, they all have their own purpose:

Canon EOS 3 - Generally for everything and telephoto work where weight and discreteness isn't a concern.

Leica M2 - My second general purpose camera for walking and everything where low light and discreteness is a concern. This may eventually even get more use than my EOS 3 seeing as I have just bought it.

Mamiya C330F - this is the camera I take out generally with another 35mm camera, I don't think I've taken it out on its own for some reason. Medium format landscapes generally with the 55 and 80mm lenses with a range of filters. Soon to get a Opemus 6 enlarger so I can start printing 6x6 negatives in my darkroom as I have been for 35mm for some time.

Olympus XA - General knock about photo diary camera. Usually on my person somewhere loaded with either Tri-X or 400NC
