Whatever happened to that new fangled Modulation Transfer Frequency (I think that's what it was called) but it might have been Modulation Transfer Function. Modern Photography magazine switched over to it in the late 70's. I resolve to go the entire year without a haircut, be nice to old ladies (even the ones who are younger than I am), and perhaps even answer a few questions on the forum.
