first, i just have to say what a great guy flashover is!
he found a very nice collapsible 90/4 tonight, m mount, and has sold it to me for what i think, is a great price
it might have a touch of haze but with my new found confidence and cleaning abilities i hope to be able to have it sparkling in no time.
(anyone know how to take one of these apart?

Excellent. I really like the 90/4 collapsible, it's a great lens. Mine has had a hard life thanks to its previous owners, but it still takes nice shots and has a lovely warm colour rendition, too.
Plus, it's quite a looker of a lens.

I am just getting in contact with a seller in Holland for mine.
Joe, they are easy: On the chrome barrel is a tiny screw that has to be loosened. Mark the spot where the lenshead screws into the barrel and unscrew the head. Then you can easily unscrew the rear lens group. If I remember correctly, the next group is very tight. You can shake it out by hitting the table so Newton's second or third law (about slow mass) throws the third part out. Do not hit the table with the lens and let the inner part land on something soft. Somewhere in between there also is a flat ring about 25mm wide. Note where you found it to be able to put it back correctly.
Now you are at the aperture surfaces.
Pretty easy.

good morning all.
yes, flashover has been the problem solver here along with a generous dose of good timing.
so i will have a collapsible 50 & 90 for the m3, along with my canon 135, which i hope to use more as i have fl for it now.
i need to start processing film soon, i think i have about 5 or 6 rolls waiting.

I think he's just lucky. He always wants something at the right time. When he had too many P's and wanted an M, and I happened to have an extra M3. Then when he wanted a collapsible 'Cron from '55 just like his M3, he found one. Then he wanted a 90, he found it ASAP.rover said:
