Partially prism separation / silvering deterioration, my guess.... Point your camera with the eyepiece against a bright light-source and watch from the front side into the small (the most left) window. If you see black spots or areas, the prism have started separating or the silvering got deteriorated.

As I said, it is my guess only, judging from your photo. You should have a technician looking at your camera. As I remember, CRR in UK can repair separated / deteriorated prisms but it is expensive.
